FEATHERS MOTORSPORT - ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE GT4
DARREN TURNER/TOM CANNING & JAMES GUESS
Our successful partnership with Feathers Motorsport started during the tail end of 2020, where at the time their ambitions enlarged to becoming a serious player in the well known and respected GT CUP championship. Introducing the 2019 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 to their arsenal made Inspire Engineering the perfect fit, having been involved with the current evolution of Aston Martins GT4 car from the start of its notoriously competitive life.
Combining Feathers knowledge of the GT CUP championship with Inspire Engineering's passion, determination and engineering knowledge made for an instant hit seeing huge pace and potential.

The first race at Donington park confirmed everyone's excited anticipation when James Guess put the car 2nd on the grid for the start and remaining so for the duration of the race. Results started to pour into the Inspire Engineering/Feathers Motorsport garage with the first win coming only a day later. Brands Hatch was much of the same with Darren Turner showing why he is one of the all time best GT drivers in the world, harpooning the Aston Martin Vantage through the field after some trouble in the earlier stages of the race.

The second win of the season came at the event following with the super sub Tom Canning in the hot seat for Darren Turner who was on Aston Martin driving duties in America at Daytona. An incredibly hot Snetterton where most cars were subjected to mechanical failures the Inspire engineering team provided the usual faultless performance and vehicle allowing James Guess and Tom Canning to dominate the field. No stopping our resident British GT Champion Tom Canning at Oulton Park, piloting the Aston to a healthy second after a hard fight only marginally missing the elusive third win! Although the wait wasn't long Inspires home race Silverstone circuit taking a win home with another great performance by the whole team!
